Redcar Speedway is delighted to announce that CHARLIE SOUTHWICK will step up from the Middlesbrough Tigers to join the Redcar Bears for the 2027 season!
Having impressed in Tigers colours, Charlie now gets the opportunity to take the next step in his speedway career as he makes the move into the Championship.
It’s always exciting to see a rider progress through our own ranks, and Charlie’s promotion is another fantastic example of the pathway from the Middlesbrough Tigers to the Redcar Bears.
We’re looking forward to seeing Charlie continue his development and take on this exciting new challenge in 2027!
Congratulations Charlie, and welcome to the Bears
