The S.G. Petch Bears will have two riders representing the club at Glasgow on Sunday in the Championship Riders final but unfortunately one will not be Jason Garrity.
Due to his injuries Jason has given up his position and it will be taken by Teesside Silver Helmet winner Charles Wright.
Charles joins Ben Barker in a very competitive field and we wish them all the best in getting a rostrum place like the Bears David Bellego achieved in 2016.
Those fans who need their speedway fix are encouraged to call in and watch the N.J.L. 4 team tournament this Saturday at the Media Prima Arena which starts at 11am and it’s FREE to get in.

Redcar SG Petch Bears will have two representatives at this Sunday’s Championship Riders Final at Glasgow, with captain Ben Barker and Jason Garrity lining up to represent the Bears 3pm start.

A restaging date will be announced when known.

Redcar SG Petch Bears travel to Sheffield this evening, for their penultimate meeting of the 2017 season with a 7:45pm start.
Sheffield go into the meeting without Kyle Howarth, who is riding for Wolverhampton the Premier League. Chris Harris will guest in his place.
Tobias Busch returns to the Bears line up after missing the last couple of meetings riding in the German Championships (where he finished 3rd, congratulations to Tobias!). There are still question marks over Jason Garrity, who has been struggling with a nasty shoulder injury and Danny Ayres who has been ill over the weekend. If Jason is not fit, the Bears will run rider replacement.
